Happy Birthday Grandma Cindy

OK so I posted on June 21st that we were going to be heading to Michelle's to celebrate my mom's birthday like we do every year. However, this year would be extra special to me since I got to share her birthday with my baby girl!

This Birthday was the best so far... so it only took us FOREVER to get these pictures of the girls... First, Paige decided to stick her foot in the cake before we could start singing Happy Birthday....

Alison was so worried that she turned and asked "Aunty can I lick her toes?" Of course I said Yes and she did!!

Although Paige doesnt quite understand whats going on or who Grandma Cindy is yet, she sure enjoyed singing Happy Birthday!

I can't believe how long its been without our mom. This Decemeber we will be coming up on her 9th anniversary. Today is her Birthday and like we have done every year since she passed away, we will be celebrating her birthday!!!

Paige's 2 Month Doctors Appointment

I can't believe how fast my little girl is already growing up! Today we went to the doctors for Paige's 2 month check up and shots. Paige weighed in at 10 pounds 8 ounces. She is right on track with her weight and height. Dr. Sheath says Paige is doing great! She recieved 3 of her immunization shots in her little leg and one orally. She cried but she was still a big girl. Mommy was very proud of her. She goes back in August for her 4 month check-up!

Uncle Matty turned 29 on June 10th and we went to dinner for his Birthday at Joe's Crab Shack.

Such A Big Girl!

Today we started Paige on eating 5 ounces of Breastmilk every 4 hours! She is doing good sleeping...

I took this picture of her this morning. She had her feeding at 7am and feel asleep around 7:30 am and didnt wake up till 11am... just in time for her next feeding =0)

Paige Update

Its been 7 weeks since this Beautiful Angel was born! Being a Mommy has changed my life. Bill and I can honestly say we are So In Love with her. Motherhood has been great except the lack of sleep at times! But I can honestly say its all worth it! For the most part Paige has been a very good baby. She got the hang of nursing very quickly, however I was not producing enough milk and unfortunately she wasn't gaining weight quick enough. At her 2 week doctors appointment she only weighed 6 pounds 8 ounces. Her pediatrician suggested I take Fenugreek pills to help increase my supply and boy did that work! At her 3 week appointment she was up to 7 pounds!! She definitely has no problem eating now!

 Bill and I have set up a routine to help our mornings, afternoons, and nights run smoothly. As of 7 weeks, Paige is Nursing every 3 hours during the day and at night its anywhere between 3 & 4 hours. June 7th was her first night sleeping 5 HOURS!!! HEAVEN. Paige gets one bottle in the morning at her 9 or 10 am feeding. She is drinking 4 ounces right now. Paige for the most part sleeps great during the day. Once I feed her, she stays awake for about an hour sitting in her bouncer, playing on the activity mat, or in her swing. After that she takes about a 2 hour nap. Then wakes up for another feeding! She for the most part is on that schedule every day, but trust me there has been a few days where thats not the case. But we make it work. A few of her favorite things right now are: smiling, coo-ing, sleeping, pooping her pants, and BATH TIME!!!

Our One Year Anniversary

Wow... Can you believe Bill and I have been married a year?!?!?! Well we hit our 1 year anniversary this past Sunday, June 5th. As I look back this past year has brought us so many wonderful memories! We had an amazing Honeymoon in Hawaii to the Birth of our Baby Girl! We have so much to be thankful for! This has been an Amazing year and we look forward to 50 more years together! I love Bill more and more every day! I am very blessed to have Bill and Paige in my life. I love an adore my family!!

On Sunday Bill surprised me with a night out to dinner. Tim and Marybeth were very nice to Babysit for us. We enjoyed a delicious dinner at Pomona Valley Mining Company.

Yes we attempted to eat our cake that had been in our freezer.... Although it was fun to cut and and attempt eat, it was not very good at all.

Thank you so much Bill for a wonderful anniversary and a memorable 1st year! I love you always and forever.
